Banque internationale du Burkina (BIB) commenced operations in Burkina Faso in 1974 with a share capital of 6 billion F CFA. It was acquired by UBA Group in November 2008 and its share capital was increased to 1é billion F CFA and held by the following share holders: UBA group 57,28%, COFIPA 20,16%, Burkina state 10% and 12,54% by individual share holders.
With a total customer base of 100 006 and a total staff strength of 450 employees BIB( member of UBA) is the biggest network of UBA Group outside of Nigeria. It currently has 26 branches across the country and 35 ATMs. |
