Banque internationale du Burkina (BIB) commenced operations in Burkina Faso in 1974 with a share capital of 6 billion F CFA. It was acquired by UBA Group in November 2008 and its share capital was increased to 1é billion F CFA and held by the following share holders: UBA group 57,28%, COFIPA 20,16%, Burkina state 10% and 12,54% by individual share holders.. With a total customer base of 100 006 and a total staff strength of 450 employees BIB( member of UBA) is the biggest network of UBA Group outside of Nigeria. It currently has 26 branches
