UBA Kenya Joins the Family

In pursuit of its Pan African expansion initiatives, United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC has commenced operations at its office in Kenya (UBA Kenya). The subsidiary will be providing a full range of corporate and consumer banking services to the citizens of Kenya. This follows the approval by the Central Bank of Kenya for operations to commence as UBA has met all operational requirements.          

The management team of UBA Kenya led by Manz Denga are poised to bring comprehensive world-class financial services to the Kenyan market and make positive contributions to the country’s economy.  In addition to introducing innovative products and services to the market, UBA Kenya is determined to change the way people bank in Kenya.

UBA Kenya brings to twelve the number of African countries where UBA has commenced operations.  The others are Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Chad and Benin.

Also, banking services are expected to commence in 7 other countries, viz; Tanzania, Zambia, Gabon, Mali, Guinea Conakry, Congo Brazzaville and Congo DR.

Our increasing network in Africa which spans countries in West, Central and East Africa, in addition to international presence in London, New York, Paris and the Cayman Islands goes to show that we are truly Africa’s global bank
