UBA Ghana is organizing a massive internal training aimed at building the Capacity of Staff to deliver on the operational mandate of the Bank. The objective of the training is to provide staff the opportunity to learn the current trends and developments in Banking, particularly Domestic Operations (DOMOPS), Treasury Operations (TROPS), Foreign Operations (FOPS), Clearing, and Relationship Management amongst others.

The 10 Stream training is divided into Core Basic Banking and Core Intermediate Banking with a class size of 45 participants drawn from the following departments:


1.    Banking Operations
2.    Treasury
3.    IT
4.    E-Business
5.    Marketing
6.    Corporate Banking
7.    Retail Banking
8.    Customer Service
9.    9. Service Quality


Mr. Richard Oppong Head of training opined "we hope to have adequately trained 450 staff of the Bank at the end of the three month long training" at the opening ceremony.

Closing the opening ceremony Mr Gabriel Edgal MD/CEO advised the participants to crave for further knowledge in administering their desk effectively as UBA continually invests in the education of its staff.
