Mr Gabriel Edgal MD/CEO of UBA Ghana recently paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Trade and Industry, Honourable Hanna Tetteh at her office in Accra.

The meeting focused mainly on trade related issues in Ghana and the West African Sub-region. Mr. Edgal used the opportunity to espouse UBA's Pan-African agenda which has so far culminated in presence in 19 African countries.

The MD/CEO also used the platform to introduce to the Minister and officials from the ministry, the banks Africa Trade platform and pledged UBA's preparedness to partner the ministry so as to foster a mutually beneficial relationship.

The Honourable Minister praised UBA for its support for trade in the sub-region and expressed her desire for further collaboration between her Ministry and UBA for the promotion of trade in Ghana and West Africa as a whole.
