UBA Ghana Commences Branchless Banking

UBA Ghana has commenced the first of its kind branchless banking operation in Ghana at the Accra Shopping Mall.

The outlet christened the UBA E-Village provides customers with numerous card – based services for ease of transaction at the Mall. Customers can therefore load their funds unto a card and subsequently withdraw cash from the nearby ATM.

Similarly, customers can conveniently access UBA AFRICASH services, receive Western Union and MoneyGram remittances as well as pay for their electricity, water and DStv bills.

The UBA E-Village also provides customers the opportunity to send money to friends and family via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or Tigo Cash in addition to paying for their Air Nigeria and Aero tickets amongst others.

With an average of 150,000 foot prints in the mall per week, this platform provides UBA Ghana with a unique opportunity to further increase UBA’s visibility and mind share for both our corporate brand and products  among our target market.
