UBA Ghana, on Saturday January 7, 2012 honoured the 24 pioneering staff who are still in bank's employment at the staff end of year party organized to end the 2011 financial year.

The well patronized dinner dance had in attendance staff, a few invited customers and friends of the bank.

The staff were lauded for being part of the unique group of pioneering staff who bought into the vision of creating a truly democratized bank in Ghana in a citation presented to them by the MD/CEO, Oliver Alawuba,   "You have through the year's demonstrated ample proof of your commitment to the continuous development of the bank and have exhibited the banks core values of humility, integrity, empathy and resilience.

On the occasion of our 7th anniversary, United Bank for Africa (Ghana) duly recognizes your immeasurable contribution to the setting up and growth of the bank." The citation concluded.

Rita Mills Robertson on behalf of the pioneers expressed their appreciation to Management for the recognition.
