Savings account that enables NRL customers to save money from overseas regularly and allows for instant cash withdrawals /online transfers to other UBA accounts without notice to the bank.

A feature-rich savings account product for students, professionals, salaried employees or entrepreneurs. The features include;
• Minimum opening balance USD 50.
• Minimum Operating balance of USD 20.
• 2% interest per annum with a balance of USD$20.
• Option of a resident/nominee Resident Joint Signatory living in Liberia as a joint signatory.
• Inter state withdrawal i.e. cash withdrawal outside state of account domiciliation.
• Cash deposit outside state of account domiciliation.
• Cash transfer from current account into savings account through U-direct online transfer on written instruction.

Eligibility
Liberian students, professionals, salaried employee or entrepreneurs legally resident abroad.
Documents Required
The documents required to open a Non Resident Liberian savings account are as listed below; • Properly completed Account opening form.
• Passport photographs (2 copies per signatory).
• Valid proof of identification – Driver’s License or International Passport or Resident Permit or work permit(necessary to confirm customer’s status).
• Proof of source if funds (Employer’s reference or letter of Employment or work ID or Recent pay slip or Evidence of Business Registration, Business bank Statements or banker’s Business Reference).
• Proof of Address (Current Utility bill not exceeding 2 Months or last 6 months bank statement or copy of any letter received within the last 3 months from existing banker).
• Attestation of passport and photocopies of attached documents (2 to 5) by a Notary Public or Liberian Embassy or NRL Banking Centre Staff.
• Completed indemnity form.
