Does MoneyGram have a wide-spread send outlets?
Today, MoneyGram has a network of approximately 143,000 outlets worldwide, which include Wal-mart (the largest neighbourhood store in US), UK Post, Thomas Cook, Canadian Post, Money cash, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks, news agents, MoneyGram RedShops e.t.c. Multi-currency Payout.

Where is the nearest location to my sender?
Visit the website of MoneyGram (www.moneygram.com) or any of the UBA’s over 700 branches on information on the over 100,000 MoneyGram agent locations worldwide.

Where can I receive money sent to me through MoneyGram?
You can receive your money from any UBA 700 business offices, and dedicated centres (RedShops)

What is a RedShop?
A RedShop is a MoneyGram dedicated centre, where only MoneyGram transactions take place. UBA has RedShops spread around the country, with 4 existing in Benin, Ikeja, Festac, Opebi in Lagos; and 3 soon to be commissioned in, Enugu & Bode Thomas, Lagos.

Does the customer pay any charges when receiving his transfer?
NO! All charges are paid by the sender.

What is the acceptable means of ID?
Driver’s license, International passport. Please note that for a national ID to be accepted, it must be accompanied by an additional ID. Other ids such as students’ or employees’ id may be accepted, but with additional conditions on the maximum amount payable with it.

Can I receive a transfer without ID?
No. All MoneyGram transactions are claimed with the bank’s acceptable means of id.

Where is the nearest location to my sender?
Please visit the MoneyGram website(www.moneygram.com). The Agent-Locator has a ‘Find Us’ tool which allows users search outlets by first letter for the city names in any given country. You can also visit any of the bank’s branches on information on the over 100,000 MoneyGram agent locations worldwide.
