How to Download and Activate the UBA Secure Pass App

UBA Secure Pass

Step 1: Download the App

  1. Open your device’s app store:
  2. Search for “Secure Pass”.
  3. Download and install the app on your device.

Step 2: Register Your Account

  1. Open the Secure Pass app.
  2. Enter your UBA Internet Banking or Mobile app User ID.
  3. Select the country where your UBA account is domiciled.
  4. Click OK

Step 3: Verify Your Identity

  1. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered email address or phone number.
  2. Enter the OTP in the app.
  3. Click OK.

Step 4: Install or Reinstall

  1. Click on “I’d like to request a U-token”
  2. Select any of the options displayed as applicable
  3. Select Install if you are a new user
  4. Select Re-install if you have previously used Secure Pass
  5. Click Done
  6. Confirm the replacement of the existing Secure Pass with the one being downloaded (if you have it previously installed on your phone)
  7. Click ‘Yes’ if you want to delete the old Secure Pass on your phone
  8. Click ‘No’ if you do not want to delete the old Secure Pass on your phone

Step 5: Activate

  1. Click on the appropriate option that matches your current experience.
  2. Click on “Next”
  3. Click “Activate UBA SecurePass”
  4. Insert and save your new Token Identity/name
  5. Click “Next”

Step 6: Activation Complete

  1. Your Secure Pass has been activated successfully
  2. Select “Setup Passcode”

Step 7: Setup Passcode

  1. You are required to Set up your passcode by entering and confirming passcode (this passcode will be used to log in subsequently)
  2. You can enable the Biometric Authentication by sliding the button
  3. Select “save”
  4. Token code is generated
