in the country, has about 70, 000 members drawn from various sectors of the
economy.

The MoU covers the
issuance of 10, 000 co-branded cards on a pilot phase to the members of the
Union with the provision of a further 10,000 cards based on the success of the
pilot phase.

The partnership
will see the opening of savings accounts for every member of the union, with a
target of having 30,000 accounts opened by end of 2015.

The Union will
become UBA’s sub-agent on WUI, MGI, RIA and AFRICASH operating from the 25
offices of the Union throughout the country. Members of the Union will use the
