The UBA Visa Prepaid Card works like a debit card but without need for the cardholder to own/operate a bank account with UBA. The card can be in Naira or Dollar denominated and pre-funded and reloadable.
It is internationally acceptable in all Visa and MasterCard acceptance points. The card can be used for ATM, POS and web transactions.
Our agent banking proposition enables us provide financial services to every segment of the society. We are able to extend product offering, decongest bank branches and leverage digital financial services as well as disbursements to the “last mile” across the continent.
For Electronic Vouchers, beneficiaries’ names, mobile number, amount to disburse, etc. is uploaded on the electronic voucher platform (PAYCODE) in bulk or batches and the beneficiaries use the Pay Code received on their mobile phones via SMS to receive fund from specified merchants/agents or UBA ATMs

Sola Yomi-Ajayi

Sola Yomi-Ajayi is a highly experienced banker with over 25 years of banking experience managing Corporate and Institutional relationships with significant experience in, Structured Lending, Transaction Banking, Risk Management, Financial Inclusion, Correspondent Banking, and Operations.
Currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UBA America with responsibility for growing the UBA franchise in the US, Sola is responsible for strategy formulation as well as oversight for various business groups at UBA such as Global Financial Institutions (GFI), Embassies, Multilateral, and Development Organizations (EMDO) as well as our Global Investor Services (GIS) teams. She leads the respective teams in the execution of corporate strategy and delivery of unique best-in-class financial solutions to UBA’s customers across these business segments.
Adesola has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and an MBA from the Aberdeen Business School. She has also attended leadership and executive programs at Harvard Business School and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK and a Member, Board of Trustees for the US-based Institute of International Banking.

Vibhuti Sharma

Based in our New York office, Vibhuti Sharma is the Regional Head of EMDOs for the Americas and Asia with responsibility for origination and coverage for Embassies, Multilateral and Development Organizations headquartered in the Americas and Asia.
He has over two decades of experience in the banking industry and, has held senior leadership roles in global banks across Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking. Having worked in several countries across Asia, Africa, Europe & America, Vibhuti has a deep understanding of both Emerging and Developed markets. Vibhuti’s extensive cross-functional leadership experience in Global Business Management, Client Coverage, Transaction Banking, Risk Management, Structuring, and Trade Finance has allowed him to develop strong relationships with some of the largest Public Sector bodies, Financial Institutions, Corporates and Foundations globally. In the variety of roles that Vibhuti has been involved in, he has managed significant global businesses and teams and is recognized for setting up financial solutions “post-global financial crisis” by developing the Global Trade Liquidity Program, portfolio securitization of financial institutions trade/corporate assets to reinvigorate the market.
Vibhuti’s background in the banking industry cuts across business generation with Central Banks, SWFs, Bi/Multilateral, and Development Organizations and was responsible for the strategic direction/collaboration for the business with these institutions operating in Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, and Americas.
Vibhuti is an alumnus of the Yale School of Management and University of Delhi, India. He further completed the Advanced Capital Markets certification from the New York Institute of Finance and has attended senior executive programs at INSEAD.

Nadia Rahmoune

Based in our London office, Nadia Rahmoune is the Regional Head of EMDOs for Europe & the Middle East. She is responsible for origination and client coverage for Embassies, Multilaterals and Development Organizations headquartered in Europe and the Middle East supporting the teams in Africa from a marketing and relationship management perspective as well as in the delivery of customer-oriented banking solutions to the EMDO community.
Nadia’s background in the banking industry cuts across business development, relationship/ client management and International Development expertise. She has worked for both private and public organizations with diverse experiences including banking, sales, marketing, consulting & research. Nadia has a global mindset and has held positions in London and Paris, with extensive travels worldwide.
She has a proven track record and large network, creating a new business, managing diverse Global Development Organisations (NGOs, Foundations, and Development Finance Institutions) and Corporates, working across various departments and divisions with a focus on Africa. She is a multilingual, innovative and results-orientated professional, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to capitalize on business opportunities, forging and consolidating openings in competitive global markets.

Olamipe Seriki

Based in Lagos Nigeria, Olamipe Seriki is the Regional Head, Global Financial Institutions and Embassies, Multilaterals & Donor Organizations (EMDOS). Her responsibilities include the Strategic engagement of International Financial Institutions, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), Multilaterals, Embassies, and Non-Governmental Organizations to create value for the bank. This is in addition to the co-ordination of Trade Finance and Foreign Currency (FCY) funding for the Bank’s operations/customers across Africa. She has been with the United Bank of Africa for over 6 years.
Olamipe has over 20 years’ experience in banking cutting across Structured Lending, Transaction Banking, Retail Banking, Operations, Risk Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Global Financial Institutions, and EMDOS.
She is an ardent turnaround leader and a strong team builder with a disciplined mind and intellect to continuously re-architect strategy to achieve optimality and continuous improvement.
She graduated from the University of Ibadan where she studied Economics and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Hamilton Nakireru

Hamilton Nakireru has over 19 years of banking experience. He is based in Abuja, Nigeria and is our Regional Head of EMDO for Abuja. He has experience that spans the fastmoving consumer goods industry, consumer sales, customer services, banking operations, branch management, risk management, relationship management and investment banking with 17years cognate experience in the EMDOs business.
He holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Lagos, a professional diploma in Marketing from the National institute of Marketing of Nigeria, an MBA from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters’ degree in Industrial & Labour Relations from the University of Ilorin. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB), Associate Association of Chartered System Accountants, USA and a Fellow Institute of Management Consultants-IMC Nigeria.
Hamilton was an MVP (Most Valued Performer) in 2012 and more recently was a UBA CEO award recipient in 2019 and the Best Branch Manager in both CASA and Contribution in UBA Abuja in 2019. He was recently appointed Regional Head, Embassies Multilateral Development Organisation, Abuja.

Diana Nansikombi

Based in Kampala, Uganda, Diana Nansikombi is currently the Ag. Regional Head for Embassies, Multilaterals and Development Organizations for Central, Eastern & Southern Africa responsible for building and growing strategic alliances with Embassies, Bilateral and multilateral organizations in the region, working in collaboration with Country EMDO Heads and product specialists in ten (10) countries.
She has a clear record of accomplishment in branch management, building sales teams, and leading teams to achieve Corporate business growth. She has strength in managing core Public Sector (Government lending and liability mobilization) and Institutional (Embassies and multilateral) relationships.
Diana is an Economics graduate from Makerere University and an MBA candidate at the University of South Wales. She has attended Euro Money Training in Private Wealth management

Eric Koomson

Based in Accra, Ghana, Eric Koomson is currently the Acting Regional Head, Embassies, Multilaterals and Developmental Organizations (EMDOs) for West Africa and he is charged with the responsibility of leading the EMDOs initiatives in the Region working in collaboration with Country EMDO Heads in the nice countries in West Africa.
Eric has a first degree in Economics and an Executive MBA in Finance, both from the University of Ghana. Eric is a highly experienced banker with over 10 years of banking experience cutting across Business Development (corporate and retail), Structured Lending, Banking Operations, and Customer Service.
Eric has attended several trainings and seminars on Leadership, Anti-Money Laundering, Customer Service and Relationship Management, Structured Lending, and Corporate Governance.
