About Caroline Anyanwu

Mrs. Caroline Anyanwu is a distinguished finance and risk management professional with over three decades of leadership experience in the banking and financial services industry. A First-Class graduate of Statistics, she is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Prize Winner in the ICAN Professional Qualifying Examination, where she emerged as the overall second-best candidate.

Mrs. Anyanwu began her career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers – PwC), where she acquired top-tier technical and management competencies as a Trainee Accountant. Her professional journey in the banking sector has encompassed key areas including Strategic Planning, Financial Control, Retail and Commercial Banking, Banking Operations, and Risk Management.

She has held several senior leadership positions in leading financial institutions. Notably, she served as Head, Credit Risk Management at United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) and has worked at executive levels with multiple international banks. Over the course of her career, she has also served on the boards of prominent organizations both as an Executive Director and Non-Executive Director, including Diamond Bank Plc, Diamond Bank D’Benin, CRC Credit Bureau Ltd, and FinBank Plc.

Currently, Mrs. Anyanwu is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Fineline Business Advisory Ltd, where she leverages her extensive expertise to provide strategic financial and risk management advisory services. She is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and a member of the Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN).
