From April 24th to 25th 2023, UBA Côte d’Ivoire participated in the 3rd edition of the Cyber Africa Forum (#CAF2023) which focused on “solutions to secure digital transformation in Africa”. The event was organised by Ciberobs, the leading cybersecurity platform in Africa, and brought together key players in cybersecurity to encourage public and private decision-makers to strengthen their partnerships and protect themselves from digital threats.
Sarata Kone-Thiam, CEO of UBA Côte d’Ivoire, Romaric Sia, IT Security Manager, and Jean-Pierre Assi, IT Manager, represented UBA during several panels with the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Mr. Amadou Coulibaly, who was also the sponsor of the event. They were joined by other senior leaders and African decision-makers.
In addition to participating in the panels, UBA Côte d’Ivoire also had a stand at the exhibition where they introduced products; prepaid cards were instantly issued with the assistance of their sub-merchant partner AYAEL to new and existing customers’ accounts.
