UBA Senegal Board and exco members discuss governance, audit and IFRS9
On Wednesday, December 11th, UBA Senegal held its last Board of Directors meeting of the year. Consulting firms, Deloitte and Mazars were invited to provide training to the members of the Board of Directors and the management committee.
The prestigious Cabinet Deloitte, delivered a presentation on the ISFR9 Standard, focusing on the rules applicable to the classification and valuation of financial assets. This was followed by a second presentation from Mazars on the regulatory requirements for governance and the audit function within the bank. The audit team was also invited to an employee awareness session on the importance of complying with internal rules and procedures.
