UBA Goes Pink
In honour of the Breast Cancer Awareness month that’s celebrated in October, UBA Foundation embarked on a sensitization campaign for staff across the group, encouraging everyone to wear pink and educating staff members about the disease, how to run self-examination for early detection, the importance of regular self-examination and healthy lifestyle choices to adopt to reduce the chances of being a cancer victim.
The campaign was aimed at informing and educating staff members about breast cancer. By increasing awareness, it is hoped that both women and men become more attentive to the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and spot it while it is more easily treatable.
