World immunisation week
#VaccinesWork for All
Today marks the beginning of #WorldImmunisationWeek! Each year, the global public health campaign works to raise awareness and increase rates of immunisation against vaccine-preventable diseases around the world.
Because of this, millions of lives are saved and immunisation is widely recognized as one of the most successful and cost effective health interventions. However, nearly 20 million children are still unvaccinated and under-vaccinated worldwide.
At a time where the health and safety of our future leaders hangs in the balance, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to immunisation in Africa for all youths.
Join us as we partner with the Gavi Vaccine Alliance to ensure African lives are saved through immunisation .
