Eligibility Criteria
- Obligor must be a confirmed employee of a Tier 1 firm on the UBA approved counterparty.
- Obligor’s salary and other allowances must be domiciled with UBA.
- Obligor must have Clean CBN CRMS and 2 credit bureau reports
- Obligor must have been in account relationship with UBA for at least 3 months during which his salary must have been paid through the bank.
- Obligor must not have a history of returned cheques.
- Obligor’s name must not be found in the bank’s black book Maximum loan amount is ₦100,000,000 depending on mortgage variant being accessed.
- Facility tenor must not exceed specified tenor for the mortgage variant being accessed.
- Monthly repayment must not exceed maximum DSR of 50%
- Loan expiry date must not exceed obligor’s 60th birthday
- Property involved must have registrable and valid title
- Obligor’s Biometric Verification Number (BVN) must be confirmed
Documentation For Home Purchase
- Offer letter from owner/seller of property
- Acceptance of property offer by obligor
- Loan application form endorsed by applicant’s employer as required. Copy of the obligor’s staff ID
- Employer’s letter of awareness/employee status enquiry form.
- Title deed to the property
- Search & authentication report on title document.
- Charting report
- Valuation Report on property by a Bank’s accredited Estate Valuer.
- Duly executed UBA Mortgage offer letter.
- Letter of undertaking to pay terminal benefits/ gratuity etc. through customer’s account in UBA
- Clean Credit Bureau/CBN CRMS Report.
- Duly executed deed of legal mortgage and other perfection documents
- Evidence of Biometric Verification Number (BVN)
Documentation For Equity Release
- Duly completed loan application form (LAF) endorsed by applicant’s employer as required.
- Copy of the obligor’s staff ID
- Employer’s letter of awareness/employee status enquiry form.
- Search & authentication report on title document.
- Valuation Report on property by an accredited Estate Valuer and Surveyor.
- Duly executed offer letter.
- Clean Credit Bureau/CBN CRMS Reports
