Vikrant Bhansali

Vikrant Bhansali has over 25 years of international banking experience across subSaharan Africa, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, North Africa, and India. He possesses deep expertise in treasury and financial markets, cross-border financial services, emerging markets, and correspondent banking relationships.

As Group Executive, Treasury & International Banking, Vikrant provides strategic leadership for UBA's Treasury, Global Financial Institutions and Custody businesses across our markets, while also leading the Bank's operations in the USA, France, and the UAE.

He is responsible for the Group's balance sheet management, funding, correspondent banking, and international operations that connect Africa to global markets. Concurrently, he serves as CEO of United Bank for Africa Plc in Dubai, where he leads strategic expansion across the Middle East.

Vikrant holds a bachelor's degree in law and is a CFA charterholder. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at global institutions, including Standard Chartered, Société Générale, Morgan Stanley, and Citigroup.
