How to Setup Secure Pass
Follow these simple steps to setup Secure Pass.
Open Google Play Store or App Store and download 'Secure Pass'
Insert your User ID and select the Country 'Nigeria'
An OTP will be sent to your registered phone number or email
Click on the link 'I'd like to request a U-Token' and select any of the options as applicable
Click 'Yes' to delete the old Secure Pass or click 'No' to retain
Select 'Activate Soft Token', fill and save your new Token Identity
Select 'Setup Passcode'
Select 'Save' and your Token code will be generated successfully.

What is the 5 by 5?
The 5 by 5 Campaign is a UBA rewards programme that gives customers five free funds transfer transactions after completing at least five qualifying debit transactions within a month.
What makes me eligible to participate in the campaign?
You are eligible to participate if you use any of UBA Savings Accounts. This includes Individual Savings, Bumper, Target, Kiddies, Teens, NextGen, Target, and other eligible savings account types.
What counts as a qualifying transaction?
Any transaction that you personally initiate and that results in a debit from your account qualifies. Examples include transfers, bill payments, card transactions, and other debit transactions carried out through UBA's approved digital channels.
Which digital channels can I use to perform qualifying transactions?
Qualifying transactions can be carried out through the UBA Mobile App, Internet Banking, USSD, ATM, LEO Chat Banking, UBA Moni, card payments, and other approved UBA digital channels.
How many transactions do I need to complete to earn the reward?
You must complete at least five qualifying transactions within a month to qualify for the reward.
What is the reward?
Once you meet the qualifying threshold, you will receive five free funds transfer transactions in the following month. For example, if you complete five qualifying transactions in June, you will receive five free funds transfers in July.
When will I receive my free transfers?
Your five free transfer transactions will be applied to your account in the month following the month in which you qualified.
How do I keep enjoying the benefit month after month?
To continue enjoying the benefit, you must complete at least five paid qualifying transactions every month. Once you meet the threshold, you will receive another five free funds transfer transactions in the following month. For example, if you complete five paid qualifying transactions in June, you will receive five free funds transfers in July. If you complete an additional five paid qualifying transactions in July, you will receive five free funds transfers in August.
What happens if I do not complete five transactions in a month?
If you do not complete at least five qualifying transactions in a particular month, you will not receive the free funds transfer benefit in the following month. However, you can qualify again by meeting the required threshold in any subsequent month.
Can I combine transactions across different channels to reach the fivetransaction threshold?
Yes. Qualifying transactions carried out across any combination of UBA's approved digital channels will be counted together. For example, if you make one transaction on LEO and another on the Mobile App, both transactions will count toward your monthly total.
Is there a limit to the number of times I can benefit from this programme?
There’s no limit. You can continue to enjoy the benefit every month as long as you meet the qualifying threshold. However, the benefit will only be available for the duration of the campaign.
How long will the programme run?
The programme will run for six months
Do I need to register or opt in to participate?
There is no registration or opt-in required. Eligible customers will automatically qualify once they meet the transaction threshold.
Will I be notified when I qualify?
Yes. You will receive notifications when you qualify for the reward and when the free transfers have been applied to your account.
Can I use my free transfers on any type of transfer
Yes. The free transfers can be used for standard transfer transactions carried out through UBA's approved digital channels.
Does this programme apply to all types of savings accounts?
Yes. The programme applies to all eligible UBA Savings Account products, including Individual Savings, Bumper, NextGen, Kiddies, Teens, and Target Accounts.
Is there a minimum transaction amount required?
There is no minimum transaction amount. Any qualifying customer-initiated debit transaction counts toward the monthly threshold.
How is this different from the previous 5 by 5 programme?
The previous 5 by 5 programme operated as a raffle draw where only selected customers won prizes. Under the revamped 5 by 5 programme, every customer who meets the qualifying criteria receives the reward automatically. There are no draws or selections.
